WATCH: 'AI is a millions of pennies business model' for the channel
Opportunity for channel partners is 'incredibly rich', IBM Watson partner chief claims
It is a "myth" that there is no money in artificial intelligence, an IBM Watson chief has claimed.
Speaking to CRN sister publication Channel Partner Insight for its video on the channel opportunity around AI, Aideen Cardiff said that the conception that AI can only generate tiny returns is "absolutely not true".
"It's a millions of pennies business model," she said.
"The opportunity for partners is incredibly rich. It's about the creation of IP and it's about the services that are related to the applications of this technology in industry."
Craig Logzinski, Developing Technologies lead at Softcat, added: "There's definitely a major opportunity to make money in there, but like any new and emerging technology we have to work very collaboratively with our customers; it's not a singular proposition.
