Giant Microsoft partner earns Azure Expert MSP status

Insight joins Azure elite

Insight has been awarded Microsoft Azure Expert MSP status, joining 57 other cloud providers globally.

Microsoft launched the programme last year, claiming that partners have to go through a "rigorous" process before obtaining the accreditation, which one partner, ANS, explained to CRN here.

Insight said that it has more than 1,000 Azure-focused engineers and more than 1,500 services professionals.

Insight CEO Ken Lamneck said: "The cloud is a conduit to the most cutting-edge technology, and Microsoft Azure represents the flexibility and scale that organizations are looking for to run their workloads smarter and propel their businesses forward.

"We believe we've etched a unique position as a driver of change across all aspects of modern IT transformation.

"Achieving Azure Expert MSP status means clients can be assured they're working alongside a partner that Microsoft considers to be among its most capable solutions providers worldwide."

Insight joins a host of global players with the accreditation, including large service providers like Accenture and Capgemini, and international VARs including SoftwareONE.

There are also a number of UK providers with the status, including ANS and Cloudreach.

Microsoft's channel boss Gavriella Schuster said: "Insight's end-to-end approach to cloud transformation allows businesses to get the most out of their investments in people, process and technology.

"Insight's knowledge, breadth of service and repeatable, automated deployment of Azure meet the high standards we expect from Azure Expert MSPs."
