Tech Data launches 'Azure solutions factory' for CSP partners

Distie says solutions can be rolled out instantly by partners

Tech Data has launched a set of ready-made Azure solutions for the channel which it says can be deployed by Microsoft Cloud Solution Provider (CSP) partners instantly.

The distributor said that the initiative, known as Click2Run, covers areas including back-up and storage, as well as more complex solutions like identity management and containerisation.

Dwayne Earl, software business unit manager at Tech Data UK, said: "With Click2Run, Tech Data has effectively created its own solutions factory for Azure. We are removing complexity, making it easier and faster for Microsoft cloud partners to deploy Azure solutions for customers, and drive consumption billing upwards.

"While you do need some knowledge of Azure to deploy them effectively, our team of experts is ready to support partners in every aspect of their Azure business.

"It's really just a matter of taking the Click2Run solutions to market and identifying opportunities."

Tech Data said the solutions are also available on tech from a number of other vendors, including Veritas, Veeam, Netapp and Docker.

The distie added that it has 29 solutions available now, with a further 10 in development.
