Resellers sought for £12m public sector framework

Framework will cover PCs, storage, networking and services

IT suppliers are being hunted for a £12m public sector framework covering a host of tech, including PCs, networking and professional services.

The ICT Goods and Services Framework is governed by Oasis Community Learning, a multi-academy education trust founded in 2004.

It will consist of 11 Lots, listed below, and run for four years. Contracts are set to be awarded to the successful suppliers on 9 May.

The framework document specifies requirements for certain frameworks, for example suppliers in the client Lot must be certified HP partners, and those in the networking Lot must be Cisco resellers.

Suppliers have until 28 February to indicate their wish to be on the framework, with requests to tender.

The framework is a renewal of its predecessor which went live in 2016 with a host of resellers, including Bechtle, XMA and Insight. That iteration is set to expire in May this year.

The Lots on the latest version are the same, with the exception of the Library Systems category - serviced solely by Capita - which has been removed, and the addition of a recycling services Lot.

The 11 Lots are:

Lot 1 - Client Devices (non-Apple)

Lot 2 - Servers and Storage (non-Apple)

Lot 3 - Apple Equipment

Lot 4 - Client Device Spares

Lot 5 - Data Cabling and Passive Network

Lot 6 - Other Network Devices

Lot 7 - Wireless

Lot 8 - Telephony

Lot 9 - Audiovisual

Lot 10 - WAN Connectivity

Lot 11 - Return and Recycling of ICT Equipment
