SentinelOne snags Palo Alto VP to lead European growth

Cybersecurity vendor claims to have tripled its EMEA business over the last six months

SentinelOne has appointed Daniel Kollberg as its EMEA vice president to support its global expansion.

Kollberg is a cybersecurity veteran of 25 years and was most recently heading up Palo Alto Networks' service provider business in EMEA.

SentinelOne COO Nicholas Warner said: "Daniel has distinguished himself as a visionary when it comes to growing and scaling cybersecurity solution sales.

"The EMEA market is more ready than ever before to replace legacy antivirus for AI-powered EPP and EDR across all attack surfaces.

"We welcome Daniel in playing a key role in the next phase of SentinelOne - achieving our goal of becoming the next great cybersecurity company."

SentinelOne claims to have more than tripled its EMEA business over the last six months, courtesy of enterprise contract wins in southern Europe, the UK and the Middle East. It touts high-profile customers including Aston Martin.

Kollberg joins following a four-and-a-half-year stint at Palo Alto, having previously held senior roles at FireEye, NTT Security and McAfee.

"SentinelOne is differentiated in its ability to secure the region's largest enterprises against the widest spectrum of attacks," Kollberg said.

"In SentinelOne, I see the industry's gold-standard unified EPP and EDR solution, with unprecedented innovation in IoT and cloud workload protection, all in a single platform. SentinelOne epitomises innovation and customer success."
