IT asset disposal heavyweight joins 'game-changing' N2S

Former RDC executive Andrew Brown hails N2S' innovations around bio leaching as he joins Bury St Edmunds-based outfit

A seasoned IT asset disposal executive has hailed N2S' "game-changing" bio-leaching technology after joining the circular computing outfit as head of sustainability solutions.

Andrew Brown will head up N2S' sales and account management teams at a time when the firm claims it is experiencing growing demand for its IT and telco disposition solutions.

He has previously held top posts at a string of ITADs including Iron Mountain, Sims Recycling Solutions and - most recently - RDC.

Despite N2S' relatively small stature, Brown claimed it is "the only firm in the industry that has invested in innovation".

He pointed to N2S' bio leaching solution, an eco-friendly and sustainable method to recover precious metals from printed circuit boards that N2S director and former England rugby international Andy Gomarsall will be showcasing at the upcoming CRN Sustainability Summit.

"Where I see the growth in this sector is around sustainability," he said.

"Everyone has to tick the security box. We have to do that and that's the game we're in. But sustainability is going to be the game changer, and that's what N2S is doing with bio leaching."
