AVMI boosts international presence with two Indian bases
Two more Indian sites set to follow, AVMI says
Audiovisual integrator AVMI has opened two offices in India as it builds out its enterprise-focused division.
The bases - in Hyderabad and Bengaluru - will soon be followed by two more sites and will host a project and support services team which is currently being built.
John Masters (pictured), global head of AVMI's enterprise service division, said: "Customers want a global service that is both operationally and commercially consistent, which is not necessarily the same thing as simply being present in a number of countries.
"AVMI has followed its global ambitions by building a truly global team to supply a truly global service.
"Our expansion into India adds a critical piece to the global jigsaw and we remain committed to providing our clients with an exceptional service globally."
AVMI reported sales of £81.2m for the year ending 30 June 2019, up 26.5 per cent on the previous year.
It claims to have more than tripled international sales to £20.5m in the same year.
The enterprise services division, meanwhile, is on track to hit sales of $50m (£38m) this year, AVMI added.
The India offices are in addition to sites in the UK, Ireland, the US and Hong Kong.
