Key takeaways from CRN and Lenovo's IWD 2020 dinner

Channel execs reveal what message they will take with them from this year's event

CRN and Lenovo once again teamed up to host an exclusive dinner at the City Social Restaurant at Tower 42 in London as part of International Women's Day 2020.

Ten of the UK channel's most recognisable figures spoke candidly about the obstacles the channel must overcome when it comes to gender diversity.

Those in attendance were: Jane Ashworth (Lenovo), Penny Williams (CDW), Karen McInerney (Computacenter), Anushka Davies (Softcat), Alex Tatham (Westcoast), Yvonne Matzk (CDW), Fiona O'Brien (Lenovo), Michelle Black (Computacenter), Darren Spence (Boost Performance) and Lisa Ergun (Lenovo).

Attendees shared their experiences in making the channel an attractive prospect for young graduates, making the return to work for those on career breaks more comfortable and how to push more women into senior management roles.
