Cisco continues exec reshuffle with new EMEAR boss

Elisabeth De Dobbeleer steps into the role left vacant by new UK and Ireland MD

Cisco has appointed Elisabeth de Dobbeleer as its new partner boss for the EMEAR region.

She was previously the vendor's VP and deputy general counsel for the region and takes over her new role with immediate effect.

De Dobbeleer steps into the role recently left vacant by David Meads, who was last month appointed Cisco's managing director for the UK and Ireland.

She will take charge of developing Cisco's strategic growth initiatives and programmes to positively impact its partner base.

"I believe in building strong relationships with our partners based on trust, transparency, effective communications and sustainable profitable growth," she stated.

"This is increasingly important during these uncertain times. Technology is playing a pivotal role in helping our customers, critical services and communities around the world.

"For 35 years, we have worked with our ecosystem of partners to connect people; today we are seeing that community engage in astounding ways. Having spent a number of years working with partners and customers in different sectors and countries, I am encouraged to know that together, we will find ways to make sure our customers are resilient and better placed for future success."
