Tech Data hunts 50 partners for AWS training programme

Initiative will help partners build AWS capabilitie

Tech Data in on the hunt for at least 50 partners to take part in its fully funded Amazon Web Services (AWS) training and enablement programme.

The initiative will help partners rise up through the tiers of AWS' partner programme, the distie said.

Tom Ellis, senior manager for AWS at Tech Data UK, said: "This is a massive value-add that we're delivering for partners who want to take advantage of the tremendous growth that we are seeing with AWS cloud services.

"It's important that we provide the right enablement for partners to help them get through the AWS APN programme tiers quickly, providing them with the competencies to fit services to customer needs and desired business outcomes."

Tech Data said that the aim is to get partners qualified as an AWS Select Partner within four months of starting the course.

The training will be provided through online skills platform A Cloud Guru.

The initiative is part of Tech Data's Cloud Practice Builder Programme.
