CSI-owned Tectrade acquires in the US
CSI-owned IBM partner Tectrade has boosted its presence in the US with the acquisition of managed services provider APSU Inc.
Tectrade was itself acquired by CSI last year, partly because of the strong operation it already has in America.
Alex Fagioli, CEO of Tectrade said: "APSU Inc. is a strong and strategic acquisition for Tectrade Corporation.
"We are committed to helping companies move their critical business applications and data to the cloud, and the investment we are making in APSU Inc. will extend our ability to deliver more value and services to our clients.
"During a time where the world is working remotely under extreme circumstances, our clients need our support, flexible services, and remote management capabilities more than ever.
"We are committed to supporting our clients to ensure their stability and future growth. The acquisition of ASPU Inc. strengthens our ability to be more agile and provide greater end to end data center services."
CSI had already acquired the UK arm of APSU in November 2016, with the US business staying in the hands of the incumbent shareholders.
Like Tectrade, APSU is an IBM specialist. The US arm of the business is headquartered in Chattanooga, Tennessee.
Tectrade reported sales of £31.2m for the year ending 31 March 2019, while its parent company CSI reported sales of £44m for the year ending 31 December 2018.
