'The average MSP will see revenue drop 17 per cent' - analyst McBain

Forrester analyst also reveals the top growth areas for the managed services market over the coming months

The average MSP will see its revenue decline by nearly 17 per cent over the next 12 months, according to Forrester analyst Jay McBain.

Speaking to CRN for the third episode in our DeskFlix series, which goes live today (Thursday 23 July), McBain said the MSP market is "a tale of two cities", with the fate of MSPs very much in the hands of the industries they specialise in. View a snippet from McBain's session above.

Elsewhere at the event, top executives from Ultima, Cancom, SysGroup and Core will debate whether MSPs will need offices in the future, and whether they can function just as well with all staff working from home.

Meanwhile ANS' leadership team will talk through how the coronavirus pandemic has impacted their radical plans to reshape the business.

CEO Paul Shannon and CTO Andy Barrow delivered two well-received keynotes at CRN's two MSP conferences last year.
