CRN Women in Channel 2020 shortlist unveiled as event goes virtual
Who made it onto the shortlist this year?
CRN is delighted to unveil the shortlist for the third Women in Channel Awards, which will take place virtually on 14 and 15 October.
Despite lockdown, we received a record 400 entries this year.
This year, the winners will be announced during a two-part virtual event that will include exclusive interviews and debates featuring top industry figures.
The shortlisted entries will now be put before our panel of external judges, which include such industry luminaries as Sarah Shields, Angela Whitty, Emma de Sousa, Graeme Watt, Sam Mudd and Alex Tatham (see the full judging line up here).
They will mark the entries ahead of a virtual judging day on 20 August.
Held over two days, the awards show will feature exclusive panels, interviews and documentaries that will shine a light on all aspects of the Women in Channel debate (including looking at some of the more challenging questions).
The show will also include live raffles and a live DJ.
