Facebook and Deloitte's new comms offering 'makes workers' lives easier'
Tech and services giants pair up to deliver collaboration services to help customers foster ''seamless' communication among remote workers
Facebook and Deloitte are teaming up to provide collaboration tools to help organisations maintain "seamless" communication among remote-working teams.
Deloitte will set up a dedicated Facebook Workplace practice in its Future of Work group that will assist clients in using the collaboration tool to connect their organisations, revamp their tech stacks and be more remote working-friendly.
The Future of Work group houses a team of 10 with experience in employee experience transformation, configuration, technology integration, content, risk and cybersecurity.
"Deloitte and Facebook's alliance will create new opportunities for employees to connect and share ideas, boosting productivity for organisations and interaction between teams," Deloitte partner Giles Warner said.
"It's vital that businesses provide tools that allow people to engage with their colleagues seamlessly, particularly at a time when many are working apart from their teams, either from home or to deliver important public and consumer services.
"Workplace has seen rapid growth and we're looking forward to working closely with them to bring new opportunities to organisations looking to boost employee experience and engagement."
Workplace VP Julien Codorniou added, "Companies are now laser-focused on serving both their employees and customers. As a result, we're seeing an increase in demand for easy-to-use, mobile-first tools that enhance productivity, employee satisfaction and make communicating seamless.
"Workplace passed the five million paid user milestone in less than three years, and in the current environment, we're seeing a greater increase in demand. We're excited to work with Deloitte to serve the growing need for digital transformation and tech tools that make everyone's working lives easier."
