Nuvias appoints new CEO for UC arm
Jeremy Keefe has been appointed as the VAD’s UC business’ new chief executive
Nuvias has appointed Jeremy Keefe as the new CEO of its unified communications business.
Keefe will take over from outgoing CEO Steve Harris who will move to a new role as executive chairman.
Harris moved to Nuvias through its acquisition of UK-based distributor Siphon in 2016.
Keefe's 18-year channel career has seen him at both leading vendors and resellers, most recently as regional SVP of UK, Ireland and Benelux at Poly (formerly Polycom).
His track record also includes stints at Computacenter, Westcon, Avaya and Citrix.
Commenting on his successor, Harris called Keefe "an exceptional leader".
"He is very familiar with our business from his time in Polycom. He has great experience and knowledge of the UC market across Europe and is well known to our customers and partners."
Announcing his impending appointment, Keefe praised Nuvias' "culture of innovation".
"Nuvias UC has a dynamic strategy that has enabled them to grow strongly, year on year," he said.
"I am honoured and excited to have been appointed to lead the business and work closely with Steve, Rob and the whole team as they begin their next strategic growth cycle."
