Wakefield-based MSP on course to top £100m in revenue
Solutionize Global launches new training academy to secure talent pipeline
Yorkshire MSP Solutionize Global is set to eclipse £100m in revenues as it embarks on a new recruitment drive.
The Dell partner saw its turnover rocket from £6.5m in FY19 to £41.9m for its year ending 31 March 2020 and now anticipates that figure will double in its current year.
The Wakefield-based firm has now launched a graduate academy in order to tackle the skills gap and have a "go-to" pipeline of talent.
The SG Academy is a 12 to 18 month accredited programme and will accommodate internal and external candidates and provide on-the-job training from its Wakefield HQ as well as home-based training.
It will collaborate with Sheffield-based training provider Ascento to deliver the programme.
"Solutionize Global has soared exponentially over the past few years and we've got a fantastic bunch of extremely ambitious and creative individuals who are perfect for this scheme," stated Kirsty Carter, Solutionize Global's chief of staff.
"We want to keep developing specialists from within and continue to build a solid foundation where our employees and company can grow together. I'm confident that if we continue to share our mission, hire in line with our culture and values and invest in our existing team, we'll retain the best tech talent."
The SG Academy launched this month and has been working with local universities and attending virtual education fairs to recruit the first cohort to the programme.
"Graduates have had an incredibly tough time during the current climate, and many have finished their courses without knowing where to turn next," she continued.
"It's vital that we nurture those skills and provide them with an opportunity to not only flourish and excel but also to bolster our economy. The tech sector is evolving rapidly and we're keen to attract talent - that might not have previously considered a career in our industry - to become leaders of the future."
