Mike Norris wins Industry Achievement Award at Channel Awards 2020

Computacenter CEO accepts prestigious gong at virtual event

Computacenter CEO Mike Norris has won the Industry Achievement Award at the CRN Channel Awards 2020.

Norris joined Computacenter in 1984, three years after it was founded, and took to the helm a decade later.

Under his stewardship the UK channel's largest player has successfully navigated the Dotcom-Era crash, The Great Recession and, this year, the coronavirus pandemic - with Norris the current longest-serving FTSE 350 CEO.

An unprecedented 2020 has seen Computacenter reach its highest valuation since 1998, continue on the growth path and double the size of its US operation through the acquisition of Pivot, as Norris sets his sights on his next challenge - replicating Computacenter's European success across the Atlantic.

An interview with Norris that aired during this year's Channel Awards, as well as his acceptance speech, can be viewed above.
