Computacenter on next week's Women in Tech Festival Global: 'It's about raising aspirations'
Computacenter’s future talent advisor shares why you join at the Women in Tech Festival Global, which broadcasts next Monday and Tuesday
Computacenter's future talent advisor, Doris Webb, has spoken to CRN about what role the channel can play in inspiring its future pipeline.
From Monday 30 November to Tuesday 1 December, CRN and Computing are hosting an online global festival with speakers and presentations from leaders in the channel and end-user community, including President of TechUK Jacqueline de Rojas, and CEO of Stemettes Anne-Marie Imafidon.
Young people still at schools and colleges, as well as recent graduates, will also take centre stage alongside the UK tech sector's top CEOs.
For Webb, this is a top drawer for partners.
"It's a wonderful opportunity to reach out to so many young people and inspire them to have careers in the STEM sector," she said.
"I personally find that really, really important, not only for the UK but also for the world to raise awareness and raise aspirations to dream bigger and introduce them to completely new careers that they maybe never heard about before."
