SecureData founder embarks on 'next adventure' with UK MSP

Etienne Greeff departs current role as CTO at Orange Cyberdefense to join Flow Communications

SecureData founder Etienne Greeff is departing his current role as CTO with Orange Cyberdefense to join a UK-based networking and security managed service provider.

Greeff has been CTO of Orange Cyberdefense since February of this year. He led SecureData for nearly a decade until it was acquired by the French comms giant last year.

London-based Flow Communications was established in 2008 and specialises in network infrastructure and security solutions. It counts Juniper, Cisco, Palo Alto and Dell among its vendor partners.

Greeff announced his departure via a post on his Linked In page.

"Today is my last day at Orange Cyberdefense and what a journey it has been. Along the way I have met many wonderful and generous people, learned a lot of lessons [and] experienced a lot of learnings," he wrote.

"Above all, I have had the privilege of jointly building something remarkable with some of the smartest people in the world. There have been a lot of first of the way [sic]; doubling down on managed services in 2002, our approach to monitoring and our approach to assess, detect, protect and respond in 2011, which is now the industry norm.

"In my mind, the business is in a wonderful place and I could not have left my baby with better parents. Au revoir my friends and may you have fair winds in these stormy seas we call cyberdefense. See you on the other side during my next adventure with Flow Communications."
