Department of Health launches £25m IT framework

Inofrmation Services Management 4 framework set to last five years, with option to extend for additional two years

The Department of Health and Social Care (DHSC) is launching the fourth iteration of its Information Management Systems (IMS4) framework.

The framework launches tomorrow and is worth £25m. It is scheduled to last five years, with the option of a two-month extension.

It will be open to tender submissions for just one month with a deadline of 22 March 2021. There are no Lots on IMS4.

DHSC is seeking suppliers of IT services, including consulting, software development, internet and support. These services include - but are not limited to - service desk, end-to-ed service management, telephony support security operations centre.

London, Leeds and other regional DHSC offices are the preferred locations of performance outlined in the tender.

"Our aim is to continue our transition to the cloud where possible, standardise and rationalise the number of solutions that we offer, and run them in collaboration with our selected partner," DHSC stated in the tender.

"We will deliver a new way of working that is underpinned by a clear operating model that defines roles, responsibilities and the flow of work between teams.

"This tender process is to appoint a single service provider to operate and deliver the IMS4 requirement."
