Sabio acquires top UK Salesforce partner
London-based contact centre VAR makes first acquisition of the year
Contact centre VAR Sabio has acquired top Salesforce partner makepositive as it looks to add assistive human service solutions to its offering.
London-based makepositive is a Platinum-level Salesforce partner with some 180 employees in offices in London, Manchester and a development centre in India.
It claims it have more than 120 Salesforce-accredited consultants with more than 700 Salesforce certifications between them.
The deal marks the first M&A move for Sabio this year after it acquired four businesses in 2020 - the latest of which was Bristol-based Genesys partner Anana.
Horizon-backed Sabio ranked #47 in CRN's VAR 350 report with revenues of £89.2m.
Group CEO Jonathan Gale said that the contact centre space is beginning to merge with the customer engagement centre market, creating a need for new skills in the Sabio business.
"With AI and conversational technologies now handling many routine CX enquiries, contact centre advisors handle a greater proportion of complex customer interactions. This has introduced more complexity on the advisor desktop, increasing the need for assistive Human Service solutions that offer true real-time digital support for advisors," said Sabio Group's CEO, Jonathan Gale.
"Salesforce is a driving force in this space as traditional contact centre technologies merge with the customer engagement centre market. Acquiring makepositive and bringing its proven design, implementation and maintenance skills across multiple Salesforce clouds into Sabio Group is an important and timely move."
"In Sabio Group we have found a new, exciting home and, with access to Sabio's resources, we will be able to accelerate our mission to deliver digital transformations for our customers," added makepositive's CEO, Mark Richards. "There's a great connection and cultural fit between the two organisations.
