VAR 350 sales boss reaches MasterChef finals

FluidOne head of major accounts reaches finals week of BBC cooking show

The head of major accounts at a top UK channel firm has cooked his way to the finals of this year's MasterChef.

Michael Tomkins from data connectivity provider FluidOne made it through to the final four of the cooking competition which aired on BBC One last night.

The next MasterChef episode will air this Thursday at 8:30pm where Tomkin will don his apron once more to fight for a spot in the top three of the competition.

MasterChef will crown its 17th champion on Friday 9 April during the series finale which airs at 8:30pm.

FluidOne is ranked #143 in CRN's VAR 350 with revenues of £31m for its year ending 31 March 2020.

In last night's MasterChef episode, Tomkins and the remaining four contestants cooked for 20 "lockdown food heroes" - members of the hospitality sector who delivered thousands of meals to frontline workers and those in need. They then had to serve a dish of their own creation based on their own lockdown experience, before creating a dish inspired by someone they admire

Guildford-based Tomkins has reached the final four of the six-week competition which began with 40 amateur contestants.
