Columbus' Hunter announces move to Accenture
Mary Hunter to join multinational company at a time of expansion
Former global chief people officer at Columbus, Mary Hunter, has announced that she will take up a new role at tech giant Accenture.
Hunter will become the company's new Microsoft business group business applications lead for Europe from 4 May, she took to LinkedIn to announce.
"Working for a company that shares my passions for people, business and customers in order to deliver the best digital transformation solutions was critical for me in selecting my new home," she said.
"I can't wait to get started on May 4 and I look forward to reconnecting with some familiar faces and making lots of new connections too."Hunter spent over 20 years at Columbus, including more than a year in her last role at the company.
European lead of Accenture's Microsoft Business Group, Richard H. Holsman said Hunter will help customers to transform using Microsoft's Digital Transformation Platform.
"I am excited to welcome Mary Hunter to the Accenture family. She will be the new Business Applications lead for Europe in the Accenture Microsoft Business Group," he said on LinkedIn.
"In this role, Mary will help companies transform using the full Microsoft Digital Transformation Platform. She brings a wealth of experiences in helping companies and people do more, and I could not be more thrilled that she has chosen to join our team."
Hunter joins Accenture at a time of expansion, with both SAP partner Edenhouse and AWS partner Infinity Works both being acquired in February.
