Microsoft claims Teams is now up and running after global outage
Users across the world have been experiencing problems with the application
Microsoft says that Teams is now "performing as expected" after users across the world experienced outages today.
Those using the application in Europe and Asia were impacted by the issue, leaving many unable to respond to messages or use its video call feature.
The vendor tweeted this morning to say it was "investigating an issue with Microsoft Teams impacting Europe and Asia" and that it was "reviewing monitoring telemetry and recent changes to isolate the source of the issue".
But it now says that the root cause of the problem has been identified and that it has "monitored the environment and confirmed that the service is performing as expected".
If users are still experiencing problems with Teams, they are being advised to restart the application and to search TM252802 in the admin center if the problem persists.
