Ensono appoints former Accenture MD as new general manager and Europe deputy

Hannah Birch will play key role in establishing European growth, company says

Cloud provider Ensono has announced that it has appointed a new general manager in Hannah Birch, who joins the company from Accenture.

Birch will also take up the role of deputy managing director for its European business, which will see her drive growth strategy in the continent.

The MSP was recently bought by private equity giant KKR in a deal worth a reported $1.7bn and also acquired UK-based cloud outfit Amido.

"Hannah understands how to drive transformational growth strategies creating deeper value-based relationships with clients," said Ensono's Barney Taylor, managing director, Europe.

"With our recent acquisition of Amido and KKR's investment in Ensono, we have a significant momentum and an accelerated opportunity to invest and grow in both the UK and European markets.

"Hannah is the right person to drive our growth ambition and to continue to build on our reputation as a leader in the technology space."

Birch joins Ensono from Accenture, where she led the company's UK technology business for insurance and was a member of the Technology leadership team for the UK and Ireland.

She held a number of leadership positions at the Irish-based firm and started her career at energy giant BP, before later holding leadership positions at Fujitsu Services UK and Computacenter.

"I am excited to join Ensono, one of the few service providers that meets organisations where they are at the inflection point and which are looking to leverage technology to drive transformational change to their business," she said.

"In my new role, I look forward to working with the outstanding and forward-thinking Ensono leadership team, as we continue to show our clients what is possible with technology and help accelerate Ensono's growth ambition in the years ahead."
