Cloud data protection vendor launches 'industry first' MSP program in EMEA
The US-based company’s new program aims to drive customers’ cloud transformation
Druva has launched what it claims to be an "industry first" managed service provider (MSP) program in North America and EMEA.
Druva said its new MSP program brings partners a SaaS-based delivery model which offers a zero-touch onboarding experience and no infrastructure to maintain.
The US cloud specialist added the program will help MSPs "accelerate" their customers' cloud transformation.
According to a Gartner survey, enterprises have accelerated and expanded the shift of operations to the cloud over the past 12 months, with 68 per cent of global respondents indicating that their organisations plan to increase spending on cloud computing in the next year.
"Customers are moving to the cloud at a breakneck pace, and managed service providers are an important resource to guiding organisations successfully through this transition," said Druva SVP of global partners and alliances, Robert Brower.
"At Druva, we have a cloud-first mentality whereby we ensure our partners have the tools to succeed, and have developed a multi-tenant SaaS solution tailored to their needs cutting out time-consuming processes of managing hardware and streamlining the entire deployment.
"Now, they can focus on delivering the service and bringing value to their customers immediately, not running the backend."
Founded in 2008 and headquartered in California, Druva delivers data protection and management through a data management-as-a-service solution.
It says its cloud platform is built on AWS and offered as-a-Service; delivering globally accessible, scalable and autonomous enterprise data resiliency.
In April, Druva secured a $147m investment, raising the company's valuation above $2bn.
The round was led by Caisse de dépôt et placement du Québec (CDPQ), with a significant investment by Neuberger Berman, with participation from existing investors Viking Global Investors and Atreides Management.
