Google Cloud appoints SAP exec as new EMEA cloud president

Adaire Fox-Martin will strengthen the ‘go-to market strategy’ of Google Cloud, company says

Google Cloud has appointed Adaire Fox-Martin as its new EMEA cloud president.

Fox-Martin brings more than two decades of tech leadership experience to the role, having recently been an executive board member and president of global sales, services, and customer engagement at SAP where she led the company's customer-focused teams.

Google Cloud says her appointment will strengthen "the go-to-market strategy" and support "customers' digital transformation journeys", having also previously held various leadership roles at Oracle.

She also currently serves on the board of directors of data center and colocation provider Equinix and was named in Fortune Magazine's Top 50 Most Powerful Women International List for the fourth time running in 2020.

Fox-Martin will "accelerate Google Cloud's outstanding growth journey across Europe" alongside the EMEA sales leadership team, , the company says, following recently agreed partnerships with the likes of Deutsche Bank, Lloyds Banking Group, LVMH, Nokia, Orange, Renault and SEB.
