NTT Data to merge management structure with Everis division to further quest for 'one NTT'

NTT Data has brought its everis business and its EMEA division under the same management to create EMEAL, which will have 38,000 employees across 25 countries and a revenue of €3bn.

EMEAL encompasses Europe, the Middle East, Africa, and Latin America - with NTT Data claiming the move is a "fundamental step towards operating as one NTT Data globally".

CEO of technology consultancy firm everis, Fritz Hoderlein, will take over as the CEO of the newly created division.

"We are excited about the beginning of this new chapter. An integrated EMEAL region means a simpler and stronger organisation and is a fundamental step to becoming one NTT Data and one NTT in order to add more value to clients, communities and people," Kaz Nishihata, senior executive vice-president and representative director, NTT Data, said.

"Fritz is the right person to lead NTT Data EMEAL to the next stage, thanks to his proven leadership and strong commitment."

NTT says the move will enable it to "further collaborate with other NTT Group companies as one NTT" and "jointly provide clients, communities, and people with end-to-end value propositions" including business consulting and IT transformation.

"I am honoured to lead this newly integrated company as CEO," Hoderlein said.

"We have highly talented people and innovative transformational leaders. This amazing team will allow us to create tangible business outcomes through technology for our clients and provide the best career path for our people."
