Scottish government publishes tender for £250m software framework

The Scottish government is asking for resellers to apply to join a software and software support services framework worth an estimated £250m.

The national collaborative framework arrangement will be available for use "by the wider Scottish public sector" for the "provision of software and software supporting services".

It will build on the current NHS Software Value Added Reseller (SVAR) agreement which is due to expire in June 2022.

Services listed include the purchasing of software, providing support services for software, helpdesk facilities and admin roles such as asset recording and the maintenance of software licence records.

However, the full scope, structure and lotting arrangements is yet to be determined.

Suppliers and other interested parties should read and complete the Request for Information (RFI) Online Questionnaire, which can be found here.

The final date for filling out the survey is 20 August. For more information, visit the tender here.
