SoftwareONE snaps up 'EMEA's largest AWS-only MSP' with HeleCloud acquisition
Swiss-based reseller claims HeleCloud is the 'largest independent AWS-only system integrator and MSP' in EMEA
SoftwareONE has acquired top AWS HeleCloud to"expand and strengthen" its AWS capabilities in the EMEA region.
London-headquartered HeleCloud is a cloud-native consulting, software architecture, infrastructure engineering and managed service provider (MSP) with Premier Consulting Partner status with AWS.
The firm operates across EMEA from three locations across Europe: the UK, The Netherlands, and Bulgaria.
It claims to take customers "on a complete journey into the cloud environment - from vision through implementation to operations and governance" and works with over 100 different clients.
Helecloud turned over £8m in full-year 2020, according to accounts filed on Companies House, up 69 per cent on the previous year. Operating profits meanwhile emerged from being £749,434 in the red in 2019 to a £200,709 profit in 2020.

SoftwareONE claims HeleCloud is "the most certified and independent AWS Premier Consulting Partner" and "the largest independent AWS-only system integrator (SI), and MSP" in EMEA.
It adds that the acquisition will bring "a team of skilled AWS experts with significant project delivery and managed service capabilities", with HeleCloud's current leadership team and employees set to integrate into SoftwareONE's AWS practice,

SoftwareONE has been ramping up its M&A over the last few years. It merged with Germany-based peer Comparex in 2018 and increased its stake in Columbian firm InterGrupo in November 2020.
