Arrow Electronics has appointed Nick Bannister as vice-president of its enterprise computing solutions business in the UK and Ireland.
Bannister joined Arrow back in 2010 and has held a number of senior roles at the company, most recently as vice president strategic alliances for EMEA.
Prior to joining Arrow, he was a director at Sphinx CST, a company acquired by Arrow in 2010.
"Nick is an outstanding leader with a proven track record and extensive knowledge of the channel in the UK and EMEA," Eric Nowak, president for Arrow`s enterprise computing solutions business in EMEA, said.
"His wealth of experience will be key in creating opportunities for our customers and vendors over the coming years, and I'm confident that Nick will set the roadmap for the next stage of growth in this key region."
Last week, Arrow ECS' UK boss Dan Waters said on LinkedIn that he was leaving the company after spending 13 years at the distributor to take up a new role as regional vice president EMEA, partners and alliances at Snowflake.
