Former HPE and RedPixie boss Feldman takes top marketing role at Akari Solutions
Feldman to head up new marketing division within Microsoft partner
Former HPE and RedPixie boss Mitchell Feldman has taken the top marketing role at Microsoft partner Akari Solutions, as it aims to become the UK's leading Microsoft partner.
Feldman will join Akari Solutions as chief marketing officer and will head up a new marketing division within the business.
He will bring "a wealth of marketing experience" in the technology and cloud arenas, claims Akari Solutions, and joins at a time of "rapid growth" within the business.
Feldman has founded several channel businesses over the years - including The Internet Group in 2001 which he later sold in 2011.
The marketing boss then founded Cloudamour in 2012, and, following its sale to cloud firm RedPixie in 2015, took on a role as chief digital officer. RedPixie itself was acquired by HPE in 2018, with Feldman staying on as chief digital officer and then worldwide marketing boss for HPE's Pointnext Services.
Akari Solutions managing director and co-founder Margaret Totten said: "Akari are massively excited about this addition to the senior leadership team. Mitchell brings with him years of experience in the channel and a unique view on marketing strategy that I know will help Akari achieve even more success as we move forward.
Feldman added: "Having built and sold a number of technology businesses, I have a good sense of what great looks like. When I was approached by Margaret to be involved with Akari, it was one of the easiest decisions I have made. Not only is their vision of the future clear, but I was equally impressed with their ambitious growth plans, as well as their strong and energetic team. Equally so, I love their focus on delivering solutions that positively impact their customers, and their people through inclusion and sustainability".
"I am really excited to be a part of this journey, and I look forward to helping them become the leading Microsoft partner in the UK and beyond."
