Forcepoint introduces new 'elite tier' to partner programme

Cybersecurity vendor Forcepoint has announced a raft of additions and changes to its Global Partner Programme - including the creation of a new "elite tier".

The new tier for its "Titanium partners" is aimed at those who want to deliver "the highest levels of technical skills and services". The vendor is also introducing new and "broader" incentives which it claims will "make it easier to work with Forcepoint".

"The most successful companies stand on the shoulders of partners, and partner-led growth is central to our strategy," said Parag Patel, senior vice-president of channel sales for Forcepoint.

"When 98 percent of our commercial business is through the channel, we're confident we know what our partners need. They don't want to feel left behind by cybersecurity vendors endlessly restructuring or overly focused on point products of the past.

"They want to build lucrative value-added infosec services and solutions that can proactively prevent compromise, mitigate risk and bring digital agility to customers. We expect our new Titanium partners to be at the forefront of this effort."

Titanium partners will be able to increase their financial rewards as their commitment with Forcepoint grows, the company says, while new programme rebates will "reward partner-led growth".

The new deal registration benefits will allow both "increased differentiation across partner levels and greater profit", Forcepoint says.

Forcepoint has also enhanced its Partner Portal which it says will make it "faster and easier" to complete deal registrations and manage business.

Other additions include new enablement offerings and technical guidance, a single route-to-market programme structure and an expanded distribution structure to "deliver a richer engagement model for Platinum and Authorised partners".

The Global Partner Programme enhancements will go live on November 15 for Forcepoint's global distributors and solution providers, while the company also plans to launch new enhancements throughout next year.
