Borough Council of Bolton advertising for MSPs to apply for £80m framework

The Borough Council of Bolton is advertising a framework for the provision of managed ICT services worth almost £80m.
One preferred bidder will be chosen for the framework - which comprises areas such as service management, communications, security and application development.
"The authority is seeking a cost effective, value for money, innovative service provider to meet both the existing and future ICT needs of each of the aforementioned and to achieve service improvements and cost savings," the tender states.
The estimated value of the framework, excluding VAT, is £79,189,000 and the duration of the contract is listed as ten years.
A virtual open session for interested tenderers will be held on Thursday, 11 November and interested participants will then have until 3 December to declare their interest in applying.
