Nuvias snaps up German distributor to expand DACH presence
The Nuvias Group business aims to expand in the DACH region with hybrid work environment services
Nuvias' unified communications arm has bought value-added-distributor Alliance Technologies to grow in the DACH market.
Founded in 2001, and based out of Germany, Alliance Technologies specialises in technology services and intelligent communications.
Nuvias UC said the acquisition bolsters its services for remote working customers, building on its pre-existing partnerships with vendors such as Zoom. Poly, Yealink and Logitech to offer solutions for improved collaborative solutions as employees return to the office.
"We have seen increasing demand for end-to-end UC solutions in continental Europe. In particular, we wanted to have a greater local presence in DACH where partners are looking for distributors with a strong portfolio to meet the varying needs of end user businesses who are transitioning to a hybrid work environment, combining home/remote working and office-based working," said Nuvias UC CEO Jeremy Keefe.
"With Alliance Technologies' expertise in voice, video, customer care, and cloud services, we will be able to offer even greater value to our existing partners and vendors."
Nuvias UC was originally founded in 2009 as Siphon Networks, and was acquired by the Nuvias Group in 2016 as a Nuvias Group business.
It bills itself as a leading unified comms and collaboration solutions provider and technology enabler.
Dietmar Kraume, MD of Alliance Technologies added: "The blend of Alliance Technologies GmbH's solutions and market presence, and Nuvias UC's vendor partnerships and professional services expertise is a winning combination.
"We are looking forward to enabling our partners to address more of the market opportunities that they see growing on a daily basis."
