Dell: New incentives for UK partners as data storage services come to Apex
Partners will be able to earn incentives when selling the solutions on a referral basis
Dell has added data storage services to its Apex platform, which will give partners the opportunity to earn new incentives on a referral basis, the vendor claims.
Data storagte services will now be available to partners and customers in the UK through its as-a-service platform Apex.
The portfolio of storage resources is deployable both on premises or in a secure Dell-managed Equinix datacentre for use in the cloud and allows customers to "pay for the storage capacity they use and can scale at the service level they need", Dell says.
Organisations can select from three performance tiers available in one or three-year terms through the APEX console, with base capacity options starting as low as 50 terabytes.
Customers will then be able to monitor capacity, performance and usage costs and update their subscriptions as needed.
Dell Technologies solution providers and storage authorised distributors in the UK are now able to earn incentives when selling these solutions on a referral basis, while cloud service provider partners also can host enhanced APEX Data Storage Services on behalf of customers.
APEX was fully launched at Dell Technologies World last year, bringing all of the company's services under one banner in a consumption-based model.
Partners can also sell cloud and custom solutions through the as-a-service model.
