Rubrik hires new channel boss from Google

Ghazal Asif joins as vice president of global partners and alliances

Data security vendor Rubrik has appoined Google's former customer solutions channel partnerships boss as its new vice president of global partners and alliances.

Ghazal Asif will be responsible for "leading Rubrik's global channel and partner strategy to drive continued growth and engagement with current and future partners", the company said announcing the appointment.

Asif joins from Google where she was head of channel partners in EMEA for Google Customer Solutions, leading channel go-to-market strategy and execution for the region.

She has also held a number of other channel leadership roles including as senior vice president of worldwide channels at Cybereason, vice president of worldwide channels for GSP & cloud providers at AppDynamics, and director of global channel sales at Cisco Meraki.
