Talking to CRN ahead of the relaunch of Tech Impact, Jigsaw24 CEO Roger Whittle outlined six key sustainability challenges the Apple partner and wider industry should focus on in 2022.
The industry must put more pressure on couriers to move faster on renewable vehicle fleets, Whittle said.
"We've got to get together and negotiate with our couriers, who take tonnes and tonnes of IT hardware kit up and down the motorways, to move over as fast as possible to electric vehicles," he said.
"I think DPD have done a good job on this, but the others have been a bit slow."
The other five areas of focus are employee commuting, renewable energy, putting pressure on vendors to report on the carbon footprint of their products, improving the sustainability of customer propositions and evangelisation.
