Lot one, worth £750m, is for cloud hosting services that will help buyers "deploy, manage and run software, provision and use processing, storage or networking resources".

Lot two, also worth a total £750m, is for cloud software services, while lot three is worth £2.5bn and encompasses cloud support in areas including planning, setup and migration, security services, quality assurance and performance testing, plus training and ongoing support.

The framework agreement duration is for 12 months but the CCS also reserves the right to extend the duration of this framework agreement for any period up to a maximum of 12 months from the expiry of the initial term.
