Perfect Image expands into south of England with Technique acquisition

IT solutions provider Perfect Image has acquired Berkshire-based MSP Technique to extend its reach into the south of England.

Pixel Group-owned data analytics firm Perfect Image, which acquired cybersecurity company Cyphra last year, claims its latest deal will provide greater geographical reach, broader market penetration and increased sales momentum across the UK.

It will complement its existing operations in Newcastle, Glasgow and Belfast, and is also expected to create cross-sell and up-sell opportunities to drive revenue growth across the business.

Group chairman Tom Kelly said: "The acquisition of Technique is a clear statement of intent and a strong indicator of our ambition to create one of the leading IT managed services and data analytics providers in the UK.

"This move significantly bolsters our geographic presence across the UK, further accelerating our expansion plans and driving new market opportunities.

"We are fully committed to our growth strategy with future acquisitions and brand investment in the pipeline."

Technique counts Dell, Microsoft and HP among its vendor partners and provides IT support and consultancy services to hundreds of businesses across the UK.

"The acquisition of Technique is a clear statement of intent and a strong indicator of our ambition to create one of the leading IT managed services and data analytics providers in the UK," group CEO Kelly Simkiss said.

"The entrepreneurial flair and talent we have inherited through the acquisition is impressive and I can't wait to start working with them as we look to grow and scale to the next level.
