Microsoft's UK channel boss joins Tech Impact judging panel
Orla McGrath claims channel can be at forefront of UK's net zero efforts
The channel has the power to be "at the forefront" of the UK's net zero efforts, Microsoft's UK channel boss has asserted as she joined the CRN Tech Impact judging panel.
The CRN Tech Impact campaign and awards are designed to spread sustainability best practice among vendors, distributors, solution providers and the wider channel. View the categories here.
Microsoft's UK channel lead McGrath recently talked CRN through Microsoft-backed research identifying six areas where partners can help end-user organisations reach their net-zero ambitions.
She becomes the second heavy hitter to join this year's judging line-up.
"Collaboration will be critical to ensuring that the technology industry can meet its sustainability ambitions," McGrath said.
"If we all work together to deliver the positive change that is needed, we can be at the forefront of not just our industry's road to net zero, but the entire UK's.
"Partners will be essential to driving this teamwork and knowledge sharing and the Tech Impact Awards present a great opportunity to highlight best practice as the channel progresses on the road to net zero. I'll be on the lookout for nominations that identify how partners are working with each other, with customers and with other industries to deliver a brighter future for everyone."
