Prime Networks acquires Surrey-based MSP TNSC

London-based managed services firm Prime Networks has made its fifth bolt-on acquisition in the shape of Surrey-based peer TNSC.

Founded in 2001 and based in Farnham, Surrey, TNSC provides outsourced and on-site support for SMEs, schools, NHS trusts as well as larger organisations.

The business will expand the national reach of Prime's services capability and grow its team to 65 staff across offices in London and the Southeast of England.

It marks Prime's fifth bolt-on acquisition since it secured a debt funding package with Clydesdale bank in 2018 and its inception following the reverse takeover of Modern Communications' IT division in 2013.

Prime previously acquired Bournmouth-based G3 Solutions in early September last year and London-based MSP Our Tech Team in December.

Commenting on the acquisition, Mark Simons, MD said: "Completing on our fifth acquisition (the third in the last year), demonstrates that our buy and build strategy is now gaining significant momentum. TNSC provides Prime with a foothold in the education sector and brings a wealth of talented individuals to the group".

"I am delighted to welcome the TNSC team and clients to Prime as we continue to expand nationally. Our existing clients will also be able to benefit from our expanded team and extended geographical reach."

Greg Watson, co-founder of TNSC, added: "Having met with a number of potential acquirers, we were immediately impressed with the Prime senior team and their ambitions for the future and saw this as the perfect opportunity to integrate TNSC into a dynamic, fast growth MSP with a great track record."
