Daisy Communications has acquired MSP Communicate Better in a deal which will boost its partnership with Microsoft and add new telephony and telematic offerings to the business.

Based in Warrington, Lancashire, Microsoft, Cisco and Mitel partner Communicate Better offers IT support, telephony and telematics solutions. The company employed 36 staff in 2021, according to Companies House.

Daisy says the acquisition expands its existing telephony business and secures it a telematic offering which will "strengthen and diversity" its portfolio.

It's the third acquisition for Daisy Communications in the last 12 months. The £200m+ revenue firm bought broadband provider XLN Group earlier this year and health, education and not-for-profit comms provider Premier Choice Telecom LAST August.

"I am delighted with the acquisition of Communicate Better," said Dave McGinn, Daisy Communications CEO. "This is a promising partnership to add to our flourishing portfolio, increasing our footprint in telephony products, enhancing our Microsoft relationship, and accruing telematic products. I am excited to welcome our new colleagues and customers to the Daisy family and to continue our journeys together".

Communicate Better CEO Wayne Cartwright said he will step aside and "hand the reigns over to Daisy" following the acquisition.

"I've been at the helm of Communicate Better for over 12 years now and we've come a long way to make the company the success it is during this time," he said.

"Now is the right time for me to step aside and hand the reigns over to Daisy Communications in the knowledge that the staff and customers are in trusted and capable hands. I'd like to thank everyone involved in the journey and wish all the best continuing success in the future."
