Nettitude expands in South East Asia with ATvanGarde acquisition
The deal will allow the two companies to offer an enhanced product portfolio
Nettitude is expanding its Governance, Risk and Compliance (GRC) offering in South East Asia through its acquisition of ATvanGarde.
The UK-based security firm says ATvanGarde - a cybersecurity consultancy firm in Singapore - focuses on GRC "to create a comprehensive offering" for clients.
It says the deal will allow the two companies to offer an enhanced product portfolio and expand their GRC offerings in South East Asia.
"By bringing together their in-depth local market expertise and experience, Nettitude and ATvanGarde will be able to offer a comprehensive suite of GRC and cybersecurity consulting, across a wide range of industries," Nettitude said in a statement.
The acquisition was effective on 1 August 2022, although no financial terms were disclosed.
Nettitude CEO Karen Bolton said: "The risk landscape is changing so fast, and organisations need a trusted partner that can help them adapt, particularly to cybersecurity compliance, with laws and standards differing around the globe.
"By combining Nettitude's market leading cyber capabilities with those of ATvanGarde, we instantly improve our GRC offering in South East Asia, particularly Singapore, further enhancing our reputation of being globally trusted cybersecurity experts."
Nettitude said ATvanGarde's team has experience in evaluating critical information infrastructure, use of international and local standards-based testing and in the security assessment of IT and OT systems.
Andrew Ho, who helped lead growth of ATvanGarde since its inception in 2018, said the deal supports its "ambitious" growth.
He added: "This exciting combination opens new markets for the organisation, especially in South East Asia, where we will benefit from Nettitude's reach."
