Arsenal has renewed its partnership with Acronis in a deal that will see the technology company continue as the football club's cyber protection partner.

The agreement will see Arsenal get access to the data backup vendor's portfolio of data protection and recovery services.

It will also see global technology distributor Ingram Micro Cloud become the delivery partner in the relationship.

"Our partnership extension gives us access to Acronis' and Ingram Micro Cloud's extensive experience in delivering innovative solutions for global sports organisations," Arsenal said in a statement.

The club‘s Chief Commercial Officer Juliet Slot said it is "excited to extend our partnership with Acronis and bolster our relationship by integrating Ingram Micro Cloud".

"Since 2018, Acronis has helped us protect our data and create operational efficiencies across the club.

"We're grateful for their fantastic support in this crucial area and we're pleased to be building on the great work we've done together."

Ovidiu Gherghel, Director Cloud & Cyber Security at UK&I Ingram Micro, added it is "looking forward to sharing our expertise with Arsenal" and partnering again with Acronis.

He said: "We have seen rapid adoption of technology in sports, both on and off the pitch. At Ingram Micro Cloud, we're constantly exploring how we can push the boundaries within the industry but the key is delivering unique experiences for both fans and athletes.

"Whether that's getting the big decisions right, or helping teams and individuals hit peak performance, we want to be standing beside them when they reach their goal."
