ANS Group launches new managed public cloud service for SMBs

ANS Group is launching a new managed public cloud service for SMBs in a move it claims slashes the cost and complexity of cloud operations.

The new offering allows business to move their code into a pre-configured AWS or Azure environment and launch their new platform and virtual machines "at the touch of a button".

Companies can then choose the exact level of managed service they need, tailored to SMB requirements and budgets.

The new delivery model also allows customers to migrate managed services across to ANS without having to do a full rebuild of their platform up front.

"By fundamentally changing the delivery model - replacing expensive consultation with repeatable automation - ANS has removed the costs normally associated with cloud migration for the benefit of its customers", the digital transformation services company said.

ANS is a UK-headquartered Azure Expert MSP which also holds Microsoft's Cloud Security Advanced Specialisation certification.

CTO Joe Wolski said its new offering gives SMBs the chance to get to the value in their cloud projects "very quickly".

"Public Cloud has for too long been the reserve of organisations with significant in-house skills or huge budgets. The typical digital transformation journey hasn't moved on in 20 years and involves expensive consultations up front. Then, when the project is finally delivered, the technology and the business have moved on."

He added: "After years of experience bringing enterprises to Public Cloud, we've created best-practice templates for cloud environments alongside an affordable managed service, democratising the technology for everyone to use."

It comes after ANS revealed its growth plans in June after merging with UKFast.

The company has set its sights on hitting an EBITDA of £80m by the end of 2025 and training hundreds of new apprentices .

CEO Paul Shannon said: "We believe that digital transformation shouldn't be exclusive to organisations with big budgets. Everyone should have access to the tech they need. That's where ANS comes in. We solve problems using technology to make our customers' lives easier.

"Our customers are at the centre of every single decision we make and always will be. We've even created a dedicated Customer Experience division to put ourselves in their shoes and put their needs front of mind."
