Former Dell exec joins Lenovo to head up EMEA channel
Lenovo’s new EMEA channel head has spent more than ten years at fellow tech giants Dell and IBM
Lenovo has appointed Ralf Jordan as its new vice president of the EMEA channel to replace Fiona O'Brien who has moved to a new worldwide role as VP of sales transformation and enablement for international markets.
Jordan will sit on the EMEA leadership team, reporting directly to SVP and EMEA president Francois Bornibus.
Based in Dusseldorf, Jordan will focus on expanding Lenovo's EMEA channel business across its entire portfolio, driving the Lenovo 360 framework to build links between the intelligent devices group, infrastructure solutions group and solutions and services group.
He joins from Dell Technologies where he has spent the last ten years in executive roles.
Jordan first started at the competitor after leaving Lenovo in 2011 following more than six years at the company.
He was executive director of distribution for EMEA and then became VP of distribution in EMEA, a role he held for more than five and a half years until his departure from the company in August.
Prior to Dell, Jordan also spent more than 13 years at IBM in several roles including director channel & SMB DACH, and manager of channel sales for EMEA.
"I'm delighted to be re-joining Lenovo as VP of EMEA channel. Over the past ten years I've followed Lenovo's impressive growth, transformation and success in the market and am inspired to play my part in taking our EMEA channel business to the next level," Jordan said.
"I see incredible opportunity for Lenovo to capitalise on its strengths and success and to further extend its leadership in the market through a truly unified channel approach. It feels like going back to my ‘first love'."
