Babble expands UK presence with another double acquisition
Babble’s latest acquisitions means it has struck a deal to acquire 21 businesses since 2019
Acquisitive cloud comms provider Babble has strengthened its market presence in Salisbury and Newhaven with another double acquisition.
The London-based business has acquired Berry Telecom and Cavendish Communications Group, taking its total number of acquisitions this year to six.
Both businesses serve 2,400 customers combined - Babble claims acquiring the companies gives their customers the chance to "enhance their technology and switch to cloud-based services".
CEO Matt Parker said: "Berry and Cavendish have a strong track record of providing their customers with an exceptional level of service. Where we will add value is bringing even more innovation and variety with the technology we can offer.
"We're delighted to welcome more great talent into Babble and together we can evolve the technology estates of our new customers to enable them to grow faster and more securely."
Babble last announced a double acquisition in July, agreeing a deal to buy Wakefield-based comms provider Yorkshire Telecom and Biscuit IT, and Basildon-based mobile services provider ADSI.
The business also expanded its presence in the North West of England through its acquisition of unified comms provider Active in May.
It comes amid Babble having been on a growth path since 2018, with Parker telling CRN last year that the business had doubled in size over the previous 12 months.
Babble's latest acquisitions means it has snapped up 21 businesses since 2019.
