Infinigate named sole European distributor for Cybereason in new partnership

Infinigate Group has inked a deal to become the sole distributor of cybersecurity vendor Cybereason in Europe.

A statement claims the new partnership will draw on Infinigate's European expertise "and leverage its network of trusted resellers".

Julien Antoine, chief business development officer of Infinigate, said the business is "delighted to build a European partnership with Cybereason".

"Empowering organisations to make informed decisions about their cyber security strategy is at the heart of what we do," he said.

"The scourge of ransomware attacks continues, and we work closely with our customers to understand their unique challenges and, as a result, they trust us to bring them the best and most innovative solutions and services, which truly deliver business value.

"Cybereason is an ideal choice to complement our existing portfolio - and we are looking forward to significant mutual growth."

Earlier this year Infinigate also signed a pan-European distribution deal with software vendor Ivanti.

Under the agreement, Infinigate is the chosen VAD for Ivanti's cybersecurity solutions in Europe.

Frank Koelmel, general manager of EMEA at Cybereason, explained Infinigate's network of partners and capacity among Europe was a "key driver" for it being chosen as its distributor.

"We believe this partnership will boost Cybereason's growth in Europe and potentially in other regions in 2023," he said.

Cybereason uses its defence platform across end points and in the cloud as it helps defenders detect and respond to cyberattacks.

It uses its patented MalOp (Malicious Operations) detection engine to reveal the full attack story across every device, user identity, application and cloud deployment.

Koelmel added: "This partnership enables us to jointly assist more European organisations in their relentless fight against ransomware and other debilitating targeted attacks."

Infinigate has also made two acquisitions this year in the shape of Nuvias and Microsoft cloud distributor Vuzion.
