Tech Data appointed new UK distributor for Pure Storage
Tech Data claims the deal will bring more opportunities for partners
Tech Data says it is bringing "tremendous growth opportunities" for partners as it formed a new UK distribution partnership with Pure Storage.
The new deal will see the entire portfolio of data management and storage solutions from Pure Storage become available via Tech Data in the UK.
This will in turn extend the reach of Pure Storage to more partners across the UK, Tech Data claims.
Jason Boxall, senior vice president of Advanced Solutions, EMEA, for Tech Data said the move comes as capacity needs of large and mid-sized organisations "continue to rise".
As part of the deal, the distributor will be working with existing Pure Storage partners and looking to extend the vendor's reach into the enterprise and mid-market sectors.
"There are tremendous growth opportunities for partners with Pure Storage," Boxall said.
Pure Storage's portfolio consists of data management solutions that delivers a cloud experience.
Tech Data claims it complements its current portfolio of infrastructure products and extends choice to partners and their customers.
Boxall added: "Its high performance solutions deliver the quality and reliability that organisations need to support modern hybrid infrastructures and this agreement enables solutions and systems integrator partners to take advantage of Tech Data's exceptional services, technical expertise and business development capabilities to support the evolving needs of their customers."
Geoff Greenlaw, vice president of the EMEA and LATAM channel at Pure Storage, said the partnership will provide partners with "improved access" to its solutions.
"We will be working closely with Tech Data's teams to ensure all their partners have access to Pure's modern solutions and all the benefits of our innovative partner programme," he added.
